A thriving non-profit organization that provides life-changing experiences to an economically diverse group of children through a summer day camp, teaches people of all ages to ride, delivers effective equine therapy sessions, and is working to grow other dynamic agricultural and outdoor education programs that enhance the community’s understanding of sustainability and conservation.
We are folks that believe in being helpful and assisting those inside and outside our organization to reach their goals through hands-on learning.
We believe hands-on, dirty hard work is an important part of life and mental health for people of all ages. Working on the farm and caring for animals gives people this important opportunity.
We have come together to provide fun and educational experiences on the farm for those that have not experienced the joys of life on a farm.
Project HNG is incorporated as Hickory Nut Gap Farm Education Project and is a tax-exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service Code.
